CONNOLLY AMONG NOMINEES FOR A 2012 ESPY AWARD

Jack Connolly, the most decorated player in the the history of University of Minnesota Duluth hockey, is up for a 2012 ESPY Award as one of five nominees for the Best Male Collegiate Athlete.


Joining the reigning Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner and three-time All-American center are Anthony Davis (University of Kentucky basketball), Robert Griffin III (Baylor University football), Andrew Luck (Stanford University football) and Mike Zunino (University of Florida baseball).


Voting for all 33 ESPY Awards will run through the evening of July 9 with the the winner being announced at the ESPY Award Show on July 11 in Los Angeles.
