NSIC COACHES PICK UMD MEN THIRD, WOMEN FOURTH IN PRESEASON CROSS COUNTRY POLL

Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference coaches have cast their gaze on the 2012 season, and the University of Minnesota Duluth is expected to put up a top-five finish in both men's and women's cross country.


Augustana College won the men's vote with 144 points and all 12 possible first place votes. UMD received 118 points in the poll.


Augustana also came in at the top of the women's preseason rankings with 165 points and 9 of 13 possible first place votes. UMD came away with 137 points.
