UMD AMONG NCAA LEADERS IN HOME HOCKEY ATTENDANCE IN 2012-13

UMD students have certainly made their presence felt at AMSOIL Arena
Through its opening eight home games of the 2012-13 season, the University of Minnesota Duluth is averaging 6,200 spectators a night for men's hockey at AMSOIL Arena. That figure is bettered by only five other NCAA I schools, four of which are fellow Western Collegiate Hockey Association members, entering the new year.
Since the $80-million, 6,737-seat AMSOIL Arena opened its doors for business on Dec. 30, 2010, UMD has drawn an average of 6,329 while compiling a record of 22-13-4.
