BULLDOG SPOTLIGHT: JAKE HOTTENSTINE

Jake Hottenstine started 17 games last year as a freshman, and averaged 7.4 points per outing. Now, in his sophomore campaign, the combo guard from Green Bay, Wis. has started every game thus far and nearly doubled his scoring output--to 14 points per contest, including a career-high 25 points at St. Cloud State. His further development will be crucial to future Bulldog success. Hottenstine and the rest of the UMD men will hit the road this weekend for two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchups. First, at Minnesota State-Moorhead on Friday and then at Minnesota, Crookston on Saturday.
