University of Minnesota Duluth seniors James Ryan and Brooks Zamzow finished second and third, respectively at the two-day and weather-delayed Saint John's University Outdoor Invitational Decathlon meet, which wrapped up Monday in Collegeville, Minn.

Ryan, who led the field after the opening day of competition, accrued 5,443 points to take a backseat only to the University of St. Thomas junior Connor O'Neill (6,010 points) while Zamzow totaled 5,188. In addition, Bulldog sophomore Logan Rubeck competed in six events before dropping out of the competition.
