After a sweep of Penn State University over the weekend, the University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team moved up one spot in USCHO.com's latest national poll.

The Bulldogs (2-0) and the University of Minnesota (1-1) both received 94 votes.  UMD started the season at No. 5 in the poll.

With a trip to No. 3 Boston College this Thursday and Friday, the Bulldogs will have a chance to climb even higher in the early season national rankings.  Game-time for Thursday's skate is set for 6:00 p.m. CST, while Friday's game is slated for 1:00 p.m. CST.
