BEFORE UMD 

Spent three years at forward with the highly successful Madison Edgewood prep team under coach Chris Martinelli • helped Edgewood to state titles in 2009 and 2011, registering a pair of game-winning goals at the 2011 state tournament • garnered an all-conference honorable mention selection as a senior.

Born Katherine Renee McMahon in Fitchburg, Wis. • is the daughter of Joseph and Susan McMahon • has one sister (Kelly) and one brother (Jack).
