2014 (Junior): Started all 35 matches for UMD • selected as NSIC Player of the Year and to her third-straight All-Conference First Team • earned first AVCA All-America First Team and Daktronics All-America First Team selections of her career • second-straight Bulldog to earn Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year (Kate Lange '13) • led the NSIC in assists at 12.99 per game • finished with nine double-doubles on the season (assists/digs) • produced a season-high 63 assists and 16 digs in UMD's five-set victory over Wayne State (Neb.) on Oct. 31 • dropped in a season-high four kills on five swings against Minot State on Oct. 18, matching that mark a week later against MSU-Moorhead on Oct. 25 • earned NSIC Setter of the Week honors on six occassions (Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept. 29, Oct. 13, Nov. 3, and Nov. 10) • finished the season with 1,520 assists, 259 digs, 67 kills, 61 blocks (four solo), and 31 aces on the year • NSIC All-Academic Team selection.
2013 (Sophomore): Started all 36 matches for UMD en route to an AVCA All-American Third Team selection • named to the AVCA All-Central Region first team and All-NSIC First Team • collected a career-high eight kills against Indianapolis on Sept. 13 • posted three double-doubles including in back-toback games against West Florida and Southern Indiana (Sept. 6-7) • knocked down a season-high four blocks in back-to-back games against Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul (Nov. 15-16) • three-time NSIC Setter of the Week selection (Sept. 23, Oct. 28, and Nov. 4) • finished second in the nation with 12.84 assists per game.
2012 (Freshman): Played in 30 matches including 28 starts as she was named an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention • named to AVCA All-Central Region first team • finished third in the NSIC in assists per game • named All-NSIC first team selection • named NSIC Setter of the Week on two occasions (Sept. 10 and Oct. 1).

BEFORE UMD: Started five years in a 6-2 system for the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars, earning the nod at setter as an eighth grader • named to the All-Hiawatha Valley League team as a freshman, sophomore and senior • garnered All-State honors as a sophomore • served as a team captain during the 2012 season • competes with the Northern Lights, a high-profile Junior Olympic program in Minnesota.
PERSONAL: Born Ashley Marie Hinsch on May 17, 1994 in Red Wing, Minn. • daughter of Gary and Donna Hinsch • has two brothers (Josh Dan) and one sister (Holly).
