2016 (Junior) Corralled the back court in 27 matches for the Bulldogs • racked up 128 digs (1.68 per set) as a defensive specialist • dug out a season-best 11 attacks against Winona State on Dec. 1 in the NCAA Tournament • collected 10 digs and three assists against Concordia-St. Paul on Nov. 4 while appearing in all five sets • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team for a second straight time.

2015 (Sophomore) Appeared in 30 of UMD’s 31 matches including four starts at the libero position • hauled in a season-high 23 digs in a start against No. 10 Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 12 • made 19 defensive saves and lifted four assists in UMD’s NSIC Tournament match-up against No. 8 Wayne State (Neb.) on Nov. 18 • finished the season with three-straight double-digit dig performances and totaled eight on the season • selected to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2014 (Freshman) Appeared in 34 of UMD’s 35 matches, including 107 games as a defensive specialist • dropped in a pair of service aces and grabbed her first collegiate dig in her season debut on Sept. 4 at Northern Michigan • had her season-high five digs against Lake Superior State on Sept. 6 • had four digs in the Bulldogs’ NCAA Tournament-opening win against Arkansas Tech on Nov. 20 • finished her first collegiate season with 48 digs, 15 service aces, and one assist.

BEFORE UMD: A two-year starter as a libero for Eagan High School and head coach Kathy Gillen • won the Minnesota State title in 2013 • received an MSHSL All-Tournament Team selection (2013) •  voted Wildcats' best defensive player by her teammates each of the past two seasons • set a new EHS single-season record for digs with 571 (2013) • member of the prestigious Northern Lights junior club team in Burnsville, Minnesota • back-to-back Sports Performance National Championship victories with Northern Lights.

PERSONAL: Born Kelly Elizabeth Madison in Edina, Minn. • daughter of Roxanne and John Madison • has three siblings (Kristina, Jeff, and Kaylyn) • participated in Mentor program at a local elementary school • honor student at EHS • enjoys hiking, fishing, and skiing when off the court • planning to major in public health at UMD.
