BULLDOG CAREER:
2016 (Sophomore) Appeared in all 30 matches and 108 sets for the Bulldogs • was named to the All-NSIC second team • led UMD in digs with 508, averaging 4.70 per set  • ranked fifth in the NSIC in digs per set • picked up a career-high 35 digs against Wayne State (Neb.) on Oct. 21 • dug out double-digit balls in 27 of 30 matches • notched 19 service aces, including three against St. Cloud State • earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honors on two occasions.
2015 (Freshman) Surprised some by claiming the starting libero position for the Bulldogs in 27 matches • hauled in a season-high 29 digs early in the season against No. 9 Wheeling Jesuit on Sept. 4 • made 26 defensive saves against No. 20 Augustana (S.D.) on Oct. 16 • dropped in two service aces on four different occasions • made 27 defensive saves against MSU Moorhead on Nov. 27 • lifted a season-high five assists against Wayne State (Mich.) on Sept. 4 • dud out double-digit balls in 23 of 27 matches while totaling just 24 reception errors on the season.
BEFORE UMD: A 2015 graduate of Chaska High School • started all four seasons for the Hawks alongside fellow Bulldog freshman Sarah Kelly • earned All-Minnesota and All-Metro West Conference honors during her senior campaign as Chaska won a Minnesota State Championship • received an All-State honorable mention as a junior • earned all-conference honors each season of her career won AAU National Championship in 2014 • also played one season of basketball as a guard.
PERSONAL: Born Erin Elizabeth Schindler in Waconia, Minn. • daughter of Roxsie and Pat Schindler • mother played collegiate volleyball at St. Cloud State • has two siblings, Justen and Dana • participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in high school • undecided on a major at UMD.
