BULLDOG CAREER
As a Junior [2012] - Played in all 34 matches as a reserve • Named 2012 NSIC All-Academic Team selection

As a Sophomore [2011] - Came in off the bench in 17 of 32 matches, seeing 32 sets worth of action • saw increased playing time during the latter portion of the season and entered one set in each of UMD’s two NCAA Central Regional games • collected 13 digs and passed out a pair of assists on the year.

BEFORE UMD
As a Freshman [2010] - Appeared in six matches for the University of North Dakota of NCAA I, collecting four digs and one service ace.

High School: Started three years at Shakopee High School as an outside hitter, and was a member of 2007, 2008 and 2009 Minnesota Class AAA state champion teams • earned All-Midwest Conference honorable mention acclaim in her first season (2007) • named to the all-conference team in 2008 and 2009, and was selected to the all-state team in 2008 and 2009 • finished fifth on the Shakopee all-time kills list (517) and third on the all-time aces list (109).

PERSONAL: Born Elizabeth Teresa Benusa on Sept. 15, 1991 in St. Cloud, Minn. • daughter of Jeff and Paula Benusa • has one younger sister, Danielle • enjoys beach volleyball and shopping.
