UMD'S STINOGEL ATTAINS NCBWA ALL-CENTRAL REGION STATUS

Starting pitcher Collin Stinogel, who closed out his University of Minnesota Duluth baseball career last week, has earned National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-Central Region honorable mention recognition. Stinogel, a native of St. Cloud, Minn., paced the 2012 Bulldogs in wins (he was 4-3), starts (12), complete games (six), strikeouts (46) and innings (66.2) while posting a 2.84 earned run average. In addition, opposing batters hit just .197 off the the 2012 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference second team pick -- the third lowest overall mark in the conference. [Full Article]
