BASEBALL ANNOUNCES CAPTAINS FOR 2009-2010 SEASON

University of Minnesota-Duluth head baseball coach Bob Rients has announced that three seniors, Will Dahlgren, Bryan Denisen, and Gary Wilfahrt, Jr., will handle the duties of team captaincy for the 2010 season. Will Dahlgren, a Burnsville, MN native, is coming off a successful 2009 season in which he started 49 of 52 games and batted .367 with 37 RBIs (good for 3rd and 2nd on the team, respectively, among regulars).  The transfer from Dakota County Technical College swiped 14 bases in 16 attempts and struck out  just 19 times in 158 at bats while drawing 26 walks.
