UMD'S ODIM AMONG 24 CANDIDATES FOR 2009 HARLON HILL TROPHY

Isaac Odim, who has, in a relatively short period of time, cemented a place for himself alongside the University of Minnesota Duluth ball-carrying greats, is one of 24 candidates in the running for the 2009 Harlon Hill Trophy as the NCAA Division II Football Player of the Year. Odim, 6-0, 215-pound junior running back from Rochester, Minn., becomes the fifth Harlon Hill Trophy candidate from UMD, joining quarterback Ted Schlafke (the fourth-leading vote getter in 2008), wide receivers Greg Aker (2006) and Tim Battaglia (2003) and the late Corey Veech, a halfback who was selected in the awa [Full Article]
