ODIM MOVES ON IN RACE FOR 2009 HARLON HILL AWARD

Isaac Odim added another entry to his burgeoning collegiate resume Thursday when the University of Minnesota Duluth junior running back was selected as one of nine finalists for the 2009 Harlon Hill Trophy as the NCAA Division II Football Player of the Year. An initial field of 24 candidates was trimmed down to nine through a regional vote by NCAA II sports information directors. (The top two vote getters from each of the four Super Regionals advanced, but three players moved on from Regional 3 due to a tie in the voting.).
