BULLDOGS DROP CLOSE ONE TO NEBRASKA-KEARNEY

The University of Minnesota Duluth fell to the University of Nebraska-Kearney 77-71 Friday afternoon at the Minnesota State Pepsi Tip Off in Mankato, Minn. UMD went into the half trailing by six and fell behind by as many 10 before rallying back to take a 65-63 lead with 4:16 to play.  The game was tied at 71 with 1:24 remaining on the clock, but the Bulldogs went cold in the clutch, missing their last three shots.
