The University of Minnesota Duluth entered its exhibition game against the 18th-ranked University of Minnesota Gophers as huge underdogs, but it did have some trends running in its favor: No. 25 Syracuse University, fell Tuesday night to Division II Le Moyne College, and the Minnesota women lost to fellow Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference member Winona State University Wednesday.
