BULLDOGS LOSE WILD HEARTBREAKER 86-85 TO CONCORDIA SATURDAY

The woes continued for the University of Minnesota Duluth as they lost 86-85 to Concordia University-St. Paul Saturday. The Bulldogs controlled much of the first half, but a late 14-2 run by Concordia followed by a buzzer-beating three-pointer by UMD freshman guard Jake Hottenstine made it a 48-44 game at the half. Leading scorer Ryan Rasmussen has been playing with supreme confidence lately; he followed up Friday night's 41-point explosion by piling up all of his 16 points in the first half, including a few three-pointers made from 25+ feet.
