BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S CRAWFORD SIGNS ON WITH BASKETBALL BULLDOGS

Pete Crawford, a two-time All-North Suburban guard/forward from Benilde-St. Margaret's High School (Minn.), has signed a national letter of intent to attend and play basketball for the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2010-11. The 6-5, 185-pound Crawford will be entering his third as a starter this winter with the Red Knights, who have qualified for the Minnesota State High School Class AAA Tournament in two of the past three season, including in 2008 when they brought home the championship trophy.
