UMD OPENS CENTRAL MISSOURI TOURNAMENT WITH WIN OVER NEBRASKA OMAHA

On its first road assignment of 2009-10, the University of Minnesota Duluth started things off the right way with a 57-45 win over the University of Nebraska-Omaha. It was the Bulldogs' first game in a tournament hosted by the University of Central Missouri. Senior forward Jheri Booker led all scorers with 19 points. Sophomore guard Lindsay Miller collected 16 points, joining Booker as the only other Bulldog in double figures. Miller also hauled in 11 rebounds to record her first double-double of the season.
