PALKIE CHOSEN AS UMD'S OUTSTANDING SENIOR ATHLETE FOR 2008-09

A pair of record-breaking All-Americans -- middle distance runner Liz Palkie and quarterback Ted Schlafke -- were named the University of Minnesota Duluth's Outstanding Senior Athletes for 2008-09 at the annual Bulldog Senior Showcase Banquet Monday night (April 13) while two-sport standout Myriam Trepanier and All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference basketball center John Vaudreuil received this year's E.L.
