BOATING BULLDOGS WILL RACE IN THE LAKE SUPERIOR DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

The University of Minnesota Duluth women's hockey team came together this week for their first week of practice for the upcoming season -- but they aren't out on the ice quite yet. The defending 2010 NCAA champions are participating in this Saturday's seventh annual Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival in Superior Bay off Barker Islands. The Bulldogs have traded in their sticks for paddles, and have been practicing all week ahead of their race on Saturday afternoon.
